William Kentridge

This artist makes chalk/pastel pieces that he films as he erases and adds to them. So, he makes an animation out of his artwork!!! -kaorrriii

before i die i want to

This is Taylor.
I found a really cool website last night, beforeidieiwantto.org
People say what they want to do before they die while they get their photo taken and then write what they said on the bottom. It's fun to read all these people's hopes and there are a lot of faces to draw.

Body Painting

Hey, it's Taylor, we have talked about body painting a lot in class so when I found this article I thought I would share. They are by an artist named Alexa Meade.

Emmalena Schulte

All right. Hello!
The picture on the top is by Edward Hopper. I really like his style, he does a lot of paintings like this.
The one below it is a painting I did for my grandpa, who is dying of cancer right now. It was ink and acrylic on canvas. The pic is pretty bad. (It is darker in reality.)
I couldn't scan it...also, it's backward.

I think he liked it. He's a real tough cowboy.

Hi, this is Carson and here are the photos I said I'd post of my son when he was a baby.  Like I said, yarn makes good baby hair.

The Master of Terror!

This is Dana, with a not-totally drawing-related post. My sister, Emily, worked at Full Life, an art center for people with disabilities. At Full Life she met an actor who created this character, Master of Terror. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfVzD9onwH0&feature=related
I think he's great and could inspire some excellent drawings.
